CHOICE OF BUSINESS LOCATION

Mumbwa District is a fast-growing town located in Central Province of Zambia. The town is located about 250 kilometers south-east of Kabwe Town and about 150 kilometers west of Lusaka city. The district has a population of 176,620 disaggregated as 88,762 (50.3%) females and 87,858 (49.7%) males. It is one of Zambia’s food baskets as it prides itself as one of the major producers of Maize, Tobbaco, Ground Nuts and Soya Beans. The Town is strategically located with easy access to neighboring towns such as Kasempa, Kaoma, Nkeyema, Luampa, Lukulu, Luampa, Chibombo, Chisamba etc. Mumbwa District even when it is endowed with a huge potential of youthful citizenly has no access to quality education as the districts depends on other towns for such services. Setting up of such an investment will go a long way in providing the much needed tertiary services for the young people and further spur economic development in the area and the country as a whole. The services will further provide opportunities to citizens around the country to have access to quality education and provide the much needed human capital for a country like ours.

MANAGEMENT TEAM AND STAFF

The school will invest in quality and competent Human Resources to ensure that it delivers the quality education services to the target Audience. At Management level the school will be headed by the Director who will be assisted by Principal Tutor, Finance Manager, Public Relations and Marketing Manager and the Registrar. The Management team will be complemented by a team of professionals who will provided quality environment conducive for teaching and leaning. The staff will have auxiliary staff in maintenance and general cleaning to ensure that the school in functioning properly. It is envisaged that at initial stage, the school will provide 20 direct and 50 indirect jobs for competent professionals.

EXPANTION PROGRAMME

The Vision of the School is to start exclusively with Nursing and Midwifery Training during the first year but continue expanding the horizon by introducing new courses and programmes such as Community Health Assistant Training at year 2, there after gradually introduce Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, physiotherapy, dental and other such Health programmes between year 3 and year 5. Between year 6 and year 10, The school envisages to grow into a modern University that will provide Health education Services to respond to all the needy areas of the Health Sector in Zambia and beyond. It is further anticipated that by the 7th Year of operations, the school will begin decentralizing its services to other cities and rural communities where these services are difficulty to access. This initiative will be consolidated by robust advertising and marketing projects so as to attract the targeted client and compete with other providers in the sector. The School is aware of the poverty levels in the country and as a way of corporate social responsibility, the school will provide bursaries and contributions tp social welfare related activities such as the orphans, old people’s homes, disabled and other such marginalized groups.
